“A different view of the world” (Erasmus+ project 2022-1-PL01-KA220-SCH-000085355) is a European project involving students and teachers from Croatia, Greece, Italy, Poland and Portugal. Its main objective is to develop digital skills and key European competences through the theme of photography. The practice of photography contemplates creative processes that imply problem solving, the ability to make changes, to design, reshape and give meaning to the real.

The main aims of this strategic partnership between schools in different countries include:

  • building knowledge and friendship, interpersonal relationships while respecting cultural differences and improving language skills by working in teams;
  • involving participants in creative activities about photographic techniques (how to use frames, lights, shadows, etc.) in English.

The project will produce: photographic exhibitions, photographic competitions for students, an operational guide to approach photographic art; a multimedia product on copyright and ethics in photography; innovative lessons based on photography; carry out a multimedia presentation on the professions related to photography.

Within the project there will be 5 mobilities, with the participation of 5 students and 2 teachers, within which the following themes will be analyzed:

  • Photography in foreign language teaching
  • Photography in the teaching of history
  • Photography in biology teaching
  • Photography in the teaching of geography
  • Photography in the teaching of physics, chemistry, mathematics
